Overview

OptionTurtle is a systematic-trading technology product provided by TradeBoTicks Trading Systems Private Limited ("TradeBoTicks", "we", "us" or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose and protect personal information when you use OptionTurtle's websites, application, broker integrations and related services.

Information we collect

Identity & account information — When you create or sign in to an account, including through Google Sign-In, we may receive information such as your name, email address, profile picture and authentication identifiers needed to create and manage your account.
Session and device data — We may collect session identifiers, IP address, browser or device information and technical telemetry needed to operate the service, maintain security, detect abuse and troubleshoot issues.
Application and trading-related data — We may process information required to provide OptionTurtle features, such as account settings, broker connection status, available margin or balance information returned by your broker, trade and order information, system activation status, risk settings, subscription information and application activity.
Broker authorization data — When you connect a supported broker, we process authorization codes, access tokens or similar credentials required to interact with the broker API. These are used only for the authorized integration and are handled using security controls appropriate to the service.
Payment information — Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We may receive transaction status, plan information, payment identifiers and other information needed for billing, reconciliation and support. We do not intentionally store full card details where those are handled directly by the payment provider.

How we use information

We use information to:

Authenticate users and create or manage accounts;
Connect supported broker accounts and operate user-authorized trading functionality;
Provide market monitoring, system execution, risk controls, trade monitoring and related product features;
Display account, margin, order, trade and subscription information;
Process billing, maintain transaction records and provide support;
Monitor reliability, investigate errors, secure the service and prevent fraud or abuse;
Communicate account, security, product and service notices;
Comply with applicable legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.

Broker connectivity

OptionTurtle currently connects to supported broker services through third-party APIs, including Zerodha Kite Connect. When you authorize a broker connection, relevant account, margin, order and trade information may be exchanged between OptionTurtle and the broker so that the service can operate. Broker data is subject to the broker's own privacy policy and terms in addition to this Policy.

Cookies & similar technologies

We use cookies and server-side sessions to maintain sign-in state, protect authentication flows, remember relevant preferences and support secure use of the application. Disabling required cookies may prevent authentication or other features from working correctly.

Third-party services

We use service providers and integrations to operate the product. These may include:

Google — authentication and Sign-In services;
Supported brokers and broker APIs — including Zerodha Kite Connect, for user-authorized broker connectivity and trading operations;
AWS — application hosting and infrastructure;
Redis and related infrastructure services — application state, caching and operational support;
Cashfree — payment processing, where applicable.

These providers may process information as necessary to provide their respective services and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to service providers, brokers and professional advisers where reasonably necessary to operate OptionTurtle, complete user-authorized transactions, maintain security, obtain professional advice, enforce our agreements, or comply with applicable law or lawful requests.

Data retention & deletion

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. If you wish to request account or personal-data deletion, contact support@optionturtle.com. Certain transaction, audit, security or legal records may be retained where required or reasonably necessary.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information and broker-authorization data, including encrypted transport, access controls and secure application practices. No online system is completely secure, and users should also protect their email, devices, broker accounts and authentication credentials.

Children

OptionTurtle is intended for adults who are legally eligible to maintain and use a trading account. We do not knowingly provide the service to children.

International processing

Some infrastructure or service providers may process information in locations outside your state or country. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to use service providers and safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information being processed.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information or to raise concerns about how it is processed. Requests can be sent to support@optionturtle.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will indicate the latest revision.
